Congratulations to Pete at Created in Birmingham for his excellent work over the past year and his recent nomination/joint win in the Media Guardian Innovation Awards. The blog has been an obvious success and is a fine example to others of the effectiveness and usefulness of a well written, well targeted blog.

Created in Birmingham is for 'Linking up Birmingham’s Artistic and Creative Communities'. This means a much improved visual awareness of the Creative Sector in Birmingham, certainly within the sector itself, where previously a much more segmented community existed. The blog is the first port of call for hundreds in and around Birmingham for anything creative within the city region and if you don't read it already then I would highly recommend it. It's not exclusive, so if you don't work in the sector don't feel that it's not for you, far from it, there's so much going on in Birmingham everyone should read this blog and realise just what they might be missing!

So well done again on the award, one of many to come I suspect.
